Jon Camire is a Managing Director on the Blackstone Operating Team and the Chief Financial Officer of Equity Healthcare.
He is involved in financial evaluation, benchmarking, and modeling to optimize health plan performance for existing and prospective portfolio companies, including alternative benefit designs, clinical programs, and opportunities with innovative partners.
Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Camire served as Vice President of Financial Modeling at Unum, where he led the modernization of actuarial and financial management capabilities across the enterprise.
Prior to Unum, Mr. Camire operated his own health actuarial and healthcare reform consulting practice, helping payers, providers, employers, and government clients navigate the risks and opportunities arising from a rapidly evolving healthcare system.
Earlier in his career, he held actuarial leadership positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
Mr. Camire holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Massachusetts. He is a member of the Society of Actuaries and the American Academy of Actuaries.
